This is rather off-topic, but somehow related to old mainframe machines.
I'm looking for information, pictures, descriptions of old magnetic
storage devices, especially not disks and tapes.
Examples: NCR CRAM, Electrodata or Potter RAM.
I also found some magic devices from RCA, used by some Bull Gamma 30
machine also.
There are two devices:
1. RCA MCF (Magnetic Card File) or RACE (Random Access Card Equipment),
possibly 70/568-11
2. Jukebox similar to music jukebox, 128 discs, possible name is Data
Record File, device type 361, part of RCA 301.
(note, it is possible I mismatched names of different products)
Of course I used google, found some manuals on bitsavers, but those
devices are still very cryptic for me. Maybe someone knows where some
pictures of those devices can be found?
