This sounds strange to me. Redistributing the source of Mary's mods should only be a problem if the copyright owner (Mary? Mary's employer?) objects. I don't see how *any* other entity could have a say in the matter. OTOH, is it really possible that my license to run HLASM restricts me to assembling source programs of my own, and not Mary's? What about a package I d/l from the VM d/l page. Am I allowed to reassemble those? Or does the assembled TEXT object somehow belong to IBM? Won't someone from IBM comment? Confused..... Shimon
