The S-disk is probably the best place. It can be on any disk. I
believe it is only used by the IDENTIFY and SENDFILE commands.

Subject: SYSTEM NETID file

Has the SYSTEM NETID file function been moved to MAINT's SYSTEM CONFIG
file?

We are putting a ZVM 5.2 system into production and one of the little
items regarding the placement of SYSTEM NETID information has come up.

I cannot determine if the SYSTEM NETID file on the "S" disk is the
correct place for this information.

Where does the ZVM community believe this information should go?

Thanks.
