The S-disk is probably the best place. It can be on any disk. I believe it is only used by the IDENTIFY and SENDFILE commands.

We are putting a ZVM 5.2 system into production and one of the little items regarding the placement of SYSTEM NETID information has come up. I cannot determine if the SYSTEM NETID file on the "S" disk is the correct place for this information. Where does the ZVM community believe this information should go? Thanks. _______________________ Jim Hughes 603-271-5586 "Impossible is just an opinion." -------------------------------------------------------- If you are not an intended recipient of this e-mail, please notify the sender, delete it and do not read, act upon, print, disclose, copy, retain or redistribute it.
