Yeah yeah.  But Brian actually traced the code and presents us with the 
bug under glass, all wrapped up with a bow! [Did I mention what a nice guy 
he is?]  It would be great if you could run 2nd level with TRACE I on the 
first level id to get a trace of the problem since we can't readily 
reproduce it.  So the trace file will be a a bit larger than usual and you 
may notice a slight reduction in performance.  Sacrifices must be made!
