In our all our early attempts the number of RSCS streams was 1 (as was JRNUM, JTNUM, SRNUM & STNUM). The failure was in opening STREAM 1 (the only stream).

I have now raised a PMR on this which, I guess, will find its way to you (if it hasnt already).

My best guess at the moment is that the buffer size is just too small to handle the throughput,  (even though it is low), but we cannot get this increased on the JES side until Sunday. Of course I could be mistaken and this may have nothing to do with it?
