The standard carny response would be: "Pay your money and take your chances".
Perhaps in your case it might be: "Don't pay your money and take your chances".
But, maybe running the following QSPOOL EXEC on a regular basis might help.
If it find that SPOOL is filling rapidly (finding it fill is left as an exercise for the reader)
you could check all open SPOOL files a few times to determine which one (or more)
is guilty of rapid output and take appropriate action (perhaps: CP SEND CP guiltyID NOTREADY vdev)
