If you have a JES2 NJE connection to VM’s RSCS then in VM’s RSCS CONFIG you can AUTHORIZE a z/OS userid to issue CP commands;

RSCS will execute the CP commands sent over NJE from the z/OS userid.

I don’t remember the TSO command to talk to another NJE node.

Subject: CP commands from TSO on a z/OS guest?

Does anyone know if there is something built-in to z/OS to permit issue of CP commands when it's running as a guest under z/VM?  I know VSE has the "* CP" command to facilitate this.  Is there something similar in z/OS ... or does this require mods?

If the answer is mods, does anyone happen to have some they'd be willing to share?

Thanks,

JR
