Now, you and I don't believe he really said that, especially with the square brackets around it; ah, the *online* version actually says "...running VM or Linux..." (see http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1759,2047135,00.asp). So somebody somewhere has a clue! I was worried -- after all those years of having to say (through clenched teeth), "Mainframe does NOT mean MVS" (and, more recently, "z/OS is not a slurring of "The OS"), I was afraid that we were going to have to start adding "And VM does NOT mean VMware". Though I suspect that it may be too late for either of those... ...phsiii
