IBM ships *most* source for z/VM. Kudos! But page xi of the pub "GC24-6099-00 z/VM Guide for Automated Installation and Service Version 5 Release 1.0" (the most current I can find as of 20070104) rightfully states: o PLX and Restricted Source no longer ship with z/VM. They are available upon request from IBM Resource Link?. Minor point to anyone but those needing access to the lesser-frequented dark corners of z/VM. But an important point of which to be aware when hunting unsuccessfully for the source to such a piece of the system. We ship source anyway, so that shouldn't be too big of a problem for z/VM installations.
