OK, I appended my original post so the picture would be available. To
answer several responders: convincing my network people is no problem,
the
problem is they don't know any more than I do because I'm the network peo
ple

the update but no change. I still feel like I'm missing a piece of the
puzzle in the level 1 TCPIP machine. From level 1 I can ping
192.168.1.221, my local address, and I can ping 192.168.200.1 the local e
nd
of my guest lan, and I can ping 192.168.200.2, the level 2 interface of t
he
guest lan. From level 2 I can ping 192.168.200.2 and 192.168.200.1 but n
ot
192.168.1.221 (or any other outside IP). I have PROXYARP on in the leve
l 1
TCPIP system.
Also, the above pings from the level 1 side were coming from a VM userid
on
that machine. If I try to ping any of the 192.168.200.xxx addresses from
a
PC on our local lan it times out.
Any ideas?
