Ann, we do it having 2 VM LPARs on sep CEC's. A db2 connect instance runs on each one. F5 3DNS takes care of moving from one to the other.

The application DB2 Connect requires 24X7 for 365 dsys. We have one VM now. What's the best way to prepare for this. We need to ipl VM for the upgrade, system abends or system config changes.
