If you're on a level that requires the even-odd-even, you can use whatever 
real devices you want, and simply ATTACH/DEDICATE them as even-odd-even 
addresses.

But VM TCP/IP hasn't required even-odd-even for quite some time, being a 
relic of an even older hardware requirement of "OSA-1" (if memory serves).
