Just keep the CP directory source of the old VM system around and when required, either copy some MDISK statement from the old VM into the new CP directory; or use DEFINE MDISK (with or without my MDSK EXEC that is now available on VM's download lib). For SFS files, one would take the minidisks of the old SFS server, maybe change the filepool id in the server's DMSPARMS file and start it under the new VM.
