Hello, We're investigating the set up for vswitch in LACP mode. We've discovered that unless you have a feature in your cisco switches out there that make 2 of them appear to be one (something like feature 1440 on the 6509), you have a single point of failure in your switch hardware.
There doesn't appear to be a way with the VSWITCH to have a failover VSWITCH or OSA which is cabled to another physical switch out there. Nor is it possbile to use NIC bonding on a virtual NIC pair in Linux to achieve failover. Is this all correct or did we miss something?
