Alan explained it nicely.

To put it in my own words: I *am* using VLAN aware vswitches, but the
grant only gets you access to a single VLAN on that vswitch for a VLAN =

unaware guest.  If a guest needs to communicate on additonal VLANs then

either the guest needs to become VLAN aware, or you need to do a grant

a *different* vswitch to avoid the guest losing access to the VLAN the =

first grant permitted.
