I'm reading the announcement letter for 5.4 *Greater flexibility, with support for the new z/VM-mode logical partitions, allowing all System z processor-types (CPs, IFLs, zIIPs, zAAPs, and ICFs) to be defined in the same z/VM LPAR for use by various guest operating systems. *
