Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on what your role is in supporting linuxvm.org) the problem is not with the file itself, but the web server (which I don't have authority to mess with). There are actually multiple web servers running on the same z/VM system and occasionally one or more of them get confused and only serve up part of a file (usually the first part).
I've sent an email to my contact at Velocity about another issue already, so I'll send him a copy of this note asking to have all the servers recycled. In the mean time, if anyone has a specific PDF they would like emailed to them, please contact me off list. Mark Post
