Log minidisks: NOMDC (it is write only, except during SFS startup)
Control minidisks: NOMDC  (well cashed by SFS itself)
Storage groups 2-n: minidisks: MDC (unless you know that some stg
group is mostly written to only)

For the catalog minidisks (storage group 1), I asked years ago if
MINIOPT RECORDMDC wouldn't be better than the default fulltrack MDC
because I suppose that storage group 1 is not sequentially read, but
with direct access.  The answer: good idea, but we didn't study this.
So I changed some of my customer's SFS servers, but never took the
time to study differences.
