Hi:

I'm finally getting around to messing with SMAPI, but I have a few
questions I'd like to ask for advice and best practices on.

First, do folks installing SMAPI typically let it go into the default
VMSYS SFS Pool, or do you create another pool for it?

Second, and possibly related to the first, how CSE aware is SMAPI? Do I
have to install an independent SMAPI installation on each node of our
CSE, or is it smart enough to know how to e.g. login or shutdown guests
on specific nodes in the CSE? If the latter, how do I configure it?

Third, are both the AF_INET and AF_IUCV request servers and methods
typically installed and used? Is it just simpler to have 'em both, period?

Fourth, for other reasons (see the recent discussion on granting a
vswitch to guests) we're considering finally breaking down and using an
ESM, in our case piggybacking on the z/OS guy's racf. Are there any
special considerations for using SMAPI in a RACF ESM enabled z/VM?

Thanks!
