Today when I log on to the system, I can't do most cms commands: 14:36:32 Q DISK = 14:36:32 HCPCQV003E Invalid option - DISK 14:36:46 ID = 14:36:46 HCPCMD001E Unknown CP command: ID 14:36:52 X PROFILE EXEC A = 14:36:52 HCPCMD001E Unknown CP command: X I can however do CP commands: Ready; = = 14:55:10 Q CPLEVEL = = 14:55:10 z/VM Version 5 Release 4.0, service level 0901 (64-bit) 14:55:10 Generated at 06/17/09 10:05:43 CDT = 14:55:10 IPL at 09/13/09 11:37:47 CDT = This is not the case with all users, maint works just fine and most other= users are working fine. But my ID, other support type ID's, and the VMRMAINT id all have this behavior. If I do i 190 or i cms, it comes back with no problems. Also, I've noticed that = if I do a command (like ID) at the read prompt, the command returns a displa= y as I would expect but when I do it again from the running/ready prompt, t= he problem has resurfaced. I rebuilt the CMS NSS, but that didn't help. Any thoughts? Thanks for any ideas.
