We'v installed zVM 5.4 on our new z10 server. There are some differences from
zVM5.2 on z900. Would you please help me out? Thanks!
We defined vswitch for zVM5.4. Below is the configuration in SYSTEM CONFIG
file.
DEFINE VSWITCH VSW1 RDEV F114 F118 CONTROLLER *
Below is the Q LAN result:
RDEV: F114.P00 VDEV: F114 Controller: DTCVSW1
>RDEV: F118.P00 VDEV: F118 Controller: DTCVSW2 BACKUP
There are two questions here:
* There are Pnn after the OSA address while there is not such
information in zVM5.2 on z900. (I didn't specify it, so P00 is default.) Where
can I get this port name?
* After I shutdown reipl the zVM, and issue 'Q LAN' command after zVM
restarted. The result would be random.....

RDEV: F114.P00 VDEV: F114 Controller: DTCVSW1
