DITTO has a function to extract *CMS files* from a DDR tape.  This way you
can obviously read a 3380 DDR and write the CMS files to for example 3390s.

I never tried it but the online help I just consulted for re-verification
seems it is just perfect.  But, not surprisingly: if you have a fullapck
DDR, you need to know the start cylinder of the minidisk to extract the CMS
files from  ("* *"  is allowed for file selection).
