I have used MULTITERM, VTAM-SWITCH, CA-VTERM and PVM, personally I like PVM the best. It is quite flexible and has a relatively small footprint. The only gotcha that comes to mind is that it can require a lot of custom scripts.. it all depends on how custom you want to make it.
