Thank you for answering my post. I see that there are several versions of the PIPE program.
What I find strange is that I downloaded the books, especially CMS/TSO Pipelines Author's Edition 1.1.11 from the official IBM site and thought it would refer to that version shipped in z/VM 5.4 CMS. This seems not to be the case. Shouldn't there be a sort of information telling this? In the manual it is written: This edition, SL26-0018-05, applies to CMS/TSO Pipelines Version 1 Releas e 1 Modification Level 11 sublevel 13 and to all subsequent releases | and modifications of this product until otherwise indicated in new editions or Technical Newsletters. But what is the version shipped originally with z/VM 5.4? Is there a sort of level command to identify the version? I am a little bit concerned to change from the original version but I wil l have a look on the tools mentioned to switch. Kind regards, Florian
