Correct, the indoor plumbing shipped with z/VM is well over 10 years
old. The Runtime Library is continuously being enhanced and improved,
and available for all VM installations to download.

Refer to the Author's Edition on the CMS Pipelines web pages and hang
out on CMSPIP-L with questions.

There are a few documented differences and there's a DMS vs FPL style
to configure. I still have to find real life cases where it causes
trouble but you may need one or two tricks to make your pipeline work
with both old and new.
