A very basic routing table takes 20 lines or so, and the action routine is probably less than that. And people should be running something like PROP anyway. For small questions like this, I think there is value in teaching people how to do it with the parts that you got with z/VM, in addition to telling them someone else did it before and wrote stuff that can do 10 times more than what you think you want today. Once you try things yourself, you learn where the work of others fits in and can embrace that as your own. Some installations do not allow their staff to take gifts from strangers for various reasons. We don't change that by questioning that policy. Rob
