Comment #8 on issue 171 by zhoujingmiller: ibus-qt conflicts with gtk applications http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=171
I am quite sorry that I almost eliminated every piece of qt after the discovery of this bug and and it would be quite painful to do the test again with i386 on fc9. For right now I am on a self-compiled kernel with several messed-up libraries and shared objects. So I do not take it likely that I shall test with the most up-to-date version. However, I could confirm that this problem goes away with GNOME under gdm with ibus-0.1.1.20090203.x86_64.fc10 as once out of whimsy I groupinstalled kde, which pulled in ibus-qt and as for the most common gtk application, nothing froze at that point. I do am sorry for not remembering to report that as I have not received reply for this issue for some months. Cheers and congratulations for the 1.1 release! :) -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
