1/ I met this problem in ubuntu 9.10 using emacs-snapshot, in fact , as locale is en_us-utf8, none of the Input method can be activated in Emacs-snapshot(ibus , scim ...)。 2/ And in Ubuntu 9.04 , Input method (ibus , scim ) work with emacs-snapshot without any problem . I guess this should be emacs-snapshot or Xorg bug but not ibus ...
