My understanding is, over-the-spot is not "Embed Preedit
String into client window" but over-the-spot means to draw preedit over
committed string.
I.e. over-the-spot is similar to override mode and on-the-spot is similar
to insert mode.
So probably neither scim-anthy nor ibus-chewing support over-the-spot.
Currently in GTK, callback, none and nothing is supported.
I revert the status to get the request if you want the over-the-spot
behavior in
ibus-anthy.
