New issue 960 by portis24: current ibus prevents gnome-do from receiving
keyboard events
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=960
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Ubuntu 10.04
Architecture (i386, x86_64): x86_64
IBus version: 1.3.4
Input method name and version: ibus
Python version:
dbus version:
dbus-python version:
gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications):
qt version (if bug is about qt applications):
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Super-Space to activate gnome-do
2. gnome-do doesn't respond to keyboard input
I recently upgraded my ibus to 1.3.4 with shawn's ppa.
After one update (can't remember from which version on), gnome-do no longer
receives keyboard input. It can be activated by Super-Space, but then it
has no response to keyboard input.
This is the error message with gnome-do --debug:
(Do:22671): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT
(object)' failed
It prints such message whenever I press a key.
