What I'm seeing instead: the text is gone forever. :)
I enter some text in Japanese, press enter and the text is still there.
What is the difference between the two lines?
I don't understand your problem. I wonder if you set the vi insert
mode(type i or a).
Can you attach the screenshot to explain your problem?
