New issue 1299 by [email protected]: Translit table issues in Ubuntu 11.10
(Oneiric)
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1299
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Ubuntu 11.10-beta1
Architecture (i386, x86_64): i386
IBus version: 1.3.99.20110419-1ubuntu3
Input method name and version: Translit 1.3.0.20100528-1
Python version: 2.7.2-5ubuntu1
dbus version: 1.4.14-1ubuntu1
dbus-python version: 0.84.0-2
gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications): Unity 4.14.2-0ubuntu1
(where is the gtk version?)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Write one of these: ц з с ы й
2. After that letter, try to write another letter different to the proposed
one.
3. It stops writing cyrillic and changes to latin letters... for example,
writing "й" and then "з" doesn't show "йз" but "jz"
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect, first and foremost, not to see any candidate list, just to write
on the fly, like I used to do before updating to Oneiric... But with or
without list, I expect to be able to write every combination of letters.
Even "ййййййййййй", for instance, without being prompted "jjjjjjjjjjj"
Please provide any additional information below.
I guess this is a problem of an out to date table, as my PinYin table was
updated and the Translit one was removed upon upgrading to Oneiric. Just
wanted to report the bug... :) Thank you!
