What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start ibus-setup and assign Shift+space as a "trigger" hotkey.
2. restart ibus-daemon
3. start gedit and press Shift+space
What is the expected output?
An IME engine is enabled, and the Shift+space event is consumed.
What do you see instead?
An IME engine is enabled, but the Shift+space event is NOT consumed. A
space character is inserted into the gedit buffer.
Please provide any additional information below.
ibus-1.3.9 does not have the problem.
