Dear Ibus developers,
the compose key ("Multi_key") is one of the standard modifier keys in
Unix/Linux systems, just like the Shift or AltGR keys. Please support it
out of the box with Ibus. I have tried ibus-xkbc and it looks like a
keyboard layout switcher, which overlaps the same function provided
natively by X.org. While it can be used as a temporary workaround, it is an
extra layer of complexity. It would be wonderful if when Ibus is switched
on with no input method, the keyboard behaves the same as if Ibus were not
running.
