I guess your chromium, libreoffice might use gtk2.
You could check it with strace again and gtk-query-immodules-2.0-64 command.
My gtk2 application loads
/etc/gtk-2.0/x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu/gtk.immodules .
I guss you need to restart nautilus.
% pkill nautilus
