I am using Telepathy as my IM client and I'm using KDE. All my installed
Telepathy packages + kdelibs are below:

The problem is that I cannot use ibus in a Telepathy conversation window.
Enabling pinyin does not work in the conversation window; it just comes out
as letters as if ibus was disabled. Pinyin does work in Telepathy's contact
list, which has a text box to search contacts. Ibus also works for me in
Firefox, konsole, yakuake, and every other program that I've tried
inputting Chinese into so far.
