New issue 1636 by [email protected]: Primary owner is not released in
NameRelease
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1636
I am implementing the Panel interface in my program. Whenever it quits, it
calls ReleaseName before closing the DBus connection. I noticed that IBus
implementation will keep the reference to the primary owner, even tough it
is not valid anymore.
The next time I run my program, the RequestName call will fail because IBus
understands that there is still a valid owner. But if I change my code to
not call ReleaseName, the primary owner reference will be freed.
I have a patch, but I don't know if it is the correct one. It seems to me
that there should be another check in bus_dbus_impl_connection_destroy_cb()
always clear the reference to the primary owner.
