The flags I am using are REPLACE_EXISTING and DO_NOT_QUEUE. Also, I am not
using the IBus API, but the EFL bindings for DBus, which is basically a
thin layer over DBus low level API.
Notice that it is on purpose that I do not want to ALLOW_REPLACEMENT. The
code is available on the EFL repository under src/examples/edlbus, but I
guess you wouldn't want to bother compiling the whole EFL project only to
test it.
If it would help, I can try to come up with an example using the IBus API.
