typing brlabs does not work right

I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04, which comes with IBUS 1.4.1
Typing in Libreoffice 3 Tibetan using Jomolhari font
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.typing "brlabs" reads as
2.བྲlབས་
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When typing brlabs it should read:
བརླབས་
which i typed in JSKAD, a different style input program, and copypasted
here.
Now one can also type barlabs, but that for sure is not extended wylie.
Please provide any additional information below.
