Do you really use libreoffice-kde4 instead of libreoffice-gnome?
If the menus of your LibreOffice have shadows, it is libreoffice-gnome.

As far as I understand, another problem with libreoffice-gnome is fixed
although the report is for libreoffice-kde.
Maybe it's not an ibus issue.
There is a problem with LibreOffice, but the fact is that IBus 1.4 and
Fcitx work fine and many users do not think so.
