New issue 1728 by [email protected]: [FR] custom compose table support
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1728
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Linux, Fedora 20
Architecture (i386, x86_64): x86_64
IBus version: ibus-1.5.7-2.fc20.x86_64
Python version: 2.7.5, 3.3.2
dbus version: dbus-1.6.12-8.fc20.x86_64
dbus-python version: dbus-python-1.2.0-1.fc20.x86_64
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run ibus
2. enter compose sequence
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected result is the sequence from ~/.XCompose
The real result is from the hardcoded default compose table
...
For some reason, I have to use a custom compose table -- there are simply no
symbols I need in the default one. If there would be any reasonable way to
use a custom compose table, it would be great. It can be in other formats,
not necessary XCompose; I have not so many symbols to add. But it should be
editable w/o patching and recompiling ibus.
Thanks a lot!
