New issue 1731 by [email protected]: Conversion Sections Are Not
Highlighted When Inputting Text in Terminal
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1731
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Arch Linux
Architecture (i386, x86_64): x86_64
IBus version: 1.5.7
Input method name and version: IBus-Anthy 1.5.5
Python version: 3.4.1
dbus version: 1.8.6
dbus-python version: 1.2.0
gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications): 3.12.2-1
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open terminal emulator.
2. Input text with IBus.
3. Convert the text.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect highlighted sections, as when inputting text in a GTK application
(Attachment 1). I see no highlighted sections (Attachment 2). A lack of
highlighted sections makes typing very cumbersome.
Please note that the difference in color in the two attachments is due to
GIF compression.
Thank you for IBus.
