What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS (Linux distributions, UNIX or ...): Ubuntu 14.04
Architecture (i386, x86_64): x86_64
IBus version: 1.5.5
Input method name and version: ibus-pinyin 1.5.0
Python version: 2.7.6 and 3.4.0
gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications): 3.10.8
qt version (if bug is about qt applications): 5.2.1
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Brand new install Ubuntu 14.04 (64bit)
2. Install ibus, skype, wps
3. open skype or wps, switch to ibus input method and type
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should be able to type Chinese with character candidates.
However it types English directly into skype/wps.
Please provide any additional information below.

tried above all without luck.
