I aquired my C27 last fall. Previous owner said he used only Interlux VC17 on
it. The boat bottom condition is pretty good, couple of cracks that have been
patched. The question now is how to proceed. My fathers reccomendation is to
take the hull down - apply VC Tar and then reapply the VC17. This would invovle
about $500 in materials and a fair amount of time, not that I am opposed but if
its not needed I would not proceed with it.
I don't see any blisters and the boat is sailed in fresh water for 5 months out
of the year. Please let me know your thoughts on what to do.
