What a great night! I was anchored out when delivering my new Catalina 27 from Georgetown SC to Charleston SC a few weeks ago. There was a new moon. The stars were so bright with not a breath of wind. When I came on deck it looked like we were anchored in space! You trully couldn't tell where the water ended and the sky began! There was another time when I was anchored in my Starwind 19, we were swimming with a new moon and the phosphoresence was so bright it looked like trails from a comet. It seems we always have the best time when we can get away from light polution and really enjoy the night.
