Hi,

The mounts (smb-2 ss) are the same idea as mine. The mounts on my boat have
round openings, not square. The ladder in the link you sent won't work. The
one I'm looking for is usually 2 step, often made of wood. It just drops onto
the keyhole mounts which are located on the hull, not the deck.

Thanks
Denis-

Are you looking for something like this?

The mounts look like the keyholes on this page:

Here is a folding one that wouldn't take up much room for storage.

&id=35232

at www.defender.com <http://www.defender.com/> search for deck
mount ladder and you will see folding, non-folding and several
choices for number of steps.

Subject: [IC27A] boarding ladder

Hello,

Like most, I have a folding swim ladder on the transom with a full height
pushpit and backstay right down the middle. I also have, from a previous
owner two keyhole mounts just below the stbd winch. Unfortunately the PO
took the ladder with him. The ladder in this spot is a lot easier to use
than the transom mounted one. I have looked for a replacement ladder but
cannot locate one. They were quite popular a few years ago, but apparently
no more. I tried the main line boat shops and consignment shops. Any ideas

Thanks,
Denis-
