The Catalina tuning guide reads "just slack" so by definition the boat designer 
is right. When I'm in racing tune they never go slack but on a first sail on 
just a hand tune if they go slack I'll take the slack out.

On a tack in 15 knot winds, my lee shrouds are slack. My crew members say this 
should not be so. I don't think it matters if they are slack. Who is right?
