Listers,
I need to do something about Lazy Jacks. Does anybody use a system
they like or dislike, and why?
Thanks,

Hi John,
Henry and I frequently sail the Chester River, particularly the lower
end, since we keep our boat on a creek just off Grays Inn Creek near
the mouth of the Chester. We winter her at Chestertown Marina.
There's a lovely place to anchor - Shippen Cove - on Grays Inn Creek,
which flows into the Chester behind Eastern Neck. This would be a
little out of your way, but worth it. Another good place to anchor is
the Corsica River, which is up the Chester a bit, but not terribly far
from where it meets the bay.
Comegy's Bight (in the Chester River) is also reputed to be a nice
place to anchor. It's up the river a bit.
If you go as far as Chestertown, there's a decent restaurant right on
the waterfront beside the marina, called "Fish Whistle". You
shouldn't have any problem getting a slip at Chestertown marina, but
I'd call ahead to reserve a space just to be safe.
Of course, there are many neat shops and restaurants within walking
distance of the marina.
Fair winds!
Lynn
