You might try calling one of the large prop manufacturers. They can give you
the details.

Subject: [IC27A] Cat 27 Folding prop

I have a 1983 Catalina 27 with a folding prop and I can only get about 5 knots
in no wind and less than 1 with a 14+ wind. The engine runs great, 11 hp
univeral 5411.

Has anyone changed the prop from folding to non-folding? What type and brand
should I buy? (2 blade? 3 blade? What pitch? HELP!!!

Thanks, Tony
