Hi, everybody! The traveler on our recently-purchased '77 TR is in sad shape. The stops which work sort of like the jib cars are almost frozen to the track. They release with thumb screws, which are probably bent and just don't want to work. As my husband says, it works fine... with a pair of vise grips and 15 minutes. Unscrewing two stops, moving the traveler and screwing them down again seems less than optimal to me. I'm kind of thinking about replacing the whole thing with a standard 4:1 setup. Has anyone tried that? Should I be thinking in a different direction?
